"Radio Frequency Resource: how to provide high-quality communications in Ukraine?"

In this context, the BRDO (Better Regulation Delivery Office) organized an urgent discussion on the current issues in the format of the Round Table "Radio Frequency Resource: How to Ensure Quality Communication in Ukraine?" Held on June 19, 2019.

Among the most acute issues discussed by representatives of the authorities and top management of market leaders during the dynamic discussion, special attention was paid to the introduction of technological neutrality, which is necessary to eliminate obstacles to the quality development of mobile communication networks in Ukraine, and to prevent the creation of radio interruptions for users of HRD (radio frequency resource). Oleksandr Zhivotovsky, Chairman of the National Commission for State Regulation in the Sphere of Communication and Information, Oleksandr Danchenko, Chairman of the Committee on Informatization and Communications, expressed the position regarding these and other acute issues concerning the search for ways to ensure high-quality communication in Ukraine on a highly professional level. VRU, leaders of the four largest mobile operators, as well as other industry experts.

At the end of the meeting, Oleksiy Goncharuk, deputy head of the Presidential Administration, assured the participants of the readiness of the authorities to use existing work effectively while developing fundamental bills for the sector, and also emphasized the continuation of active dialogue with business.
